Our Silk Velvet features a burnt-out jacquard technique: selected areas of the velvet pile are delicately burned away to reveal the sheer silk base beneath, forming the pattern. The result is a fabric with visible flowing light and shadow — the motif shifts and glows as you move, something a printed pattern can never replicate.
